I pay the rent by sitting in front of a computer for many hours a day, yet I am not a power user or even a very knowledgeable user. My employer forces me to frequently use new software, or a new version, with no training provided at all--just do it or get out.In this situation the "Missing Manual" series and the "For Dummies" series have enabled me to keep my job.This Photographer's Guide for the Lumix LX5 is almost as basic as those books and alot better. It assumes you know something about basic photography,(if you don't have this knowledge, you wasted alot of money when a cheaper camera would do the job for you, or you need to spend alot of time at a local community college taaking courses in photography) and then explains the operations and possibilities of this camera to get the pictures you want. It does it in a logical format with illustrations that are understandableI really wish there were similar, cover the basics, books for Photoshop.
